Glad to see a new forum - there does seem to have been a resurgence of interest in the band in the last year or two.
I've been running Mr. Meenee's unofficial site since about 1996, with a couple of interruptions (nearly 10 years now!). In the years after the band's demise, I would get an e-mail about them roughly once every six months or so for some time, but, roughly a year ago, things started to pick up much more. In the last year, I've heard from someone or another almost weekly, and even gotten a phone call from overseas early one morning asking for info about the band. All this in addition to the wonderful rarities that were posted on the Beaut page, and now the appearance of the myspace page.
It's very hard to listen to bands like The Dresdon Dolls or the Decemberists or any number of bands out there today without wondering whether stiffs inc would have fared better in today's market.

Thanks. I think this forum might have come at a good time then. I was really happy to see the new myspace page for Stiffs Inc. Couldn't have happened at a better time.
I also wonder how much better Stiffs, Inc could have fared today.

They would have done well. The local music scene in their(or some of them) home area is very alive and they would be very well recieved. Most of the people who I've introduced the music to found them to be very accessible and immediatley likable.

Hope all is well people. I am new here and have recently launched my site www.deafsparrow.com I am currently working on an interview and an article on Stiffs, INC. The site leans towards hard music, but there is a section called Lost & Found: Records that time forgot and I am dedicating the second installment to Nix Nougt Nothing. Should be up by late next week. Thanks, Hansel Merchor Deaf SParrow

Does anyone have a lastfm account? As a reluctant member of generation Y, I joined up yesterday only to find The Stiffs Inc have not so much as an artist description. Rather than make a fool of myself by blatantly paraphrasing and breaching copyright with regards to an appropriate artist pic, I was hoping someone more qualified could do the job. Equally, permissions/suggestions directed at me would suffice. I can be reached at theseampsgoto11@gmail.com

Okay, there is one. The 'the' in the group's name is omitted. My bad.
